The Independent Security Advisors Training Division is proud to announce we will be conducting dignitary and executive protection training programs hosted by Mr. Riley Beaman the Director of Health and Public Safety Programs for Montgomery Community College, and working with the North Carolina Public Safety Drone Academy.
These EP programs are part of our promise to only offer training with the most current materials, procedures, and curriculum. The inclusion of drone training will introduce students to the threats drones present to protective operations from privacy violations to active physical threats. The curriculum includes the use of drones for physical security, surveillance detection, motorcade security, arrival and departure operations, special events and site survey or advance operations. For our law enforcement students, the NCPSDA cadre will also cover the basic fundamentals of drone use for law enforcement and search and rescue operations.
The NC Public Safety Drone Academy is well respected for preparing emergency service members and or first responders as effective and well-educated UAV/drone pilots, and its drone training is fee waived for all qualified emergency service personnel and first responders.
With the joining of these two great programs, we can continue to introduce students to the new generation of threats as well as the new tools available for the EP mission. But this training will not be limited to EP students, we will open drone training to anyone in need of, or interested in, the use of drones for security, law enforcement or by other first responders.
Students can qualify for the Virginia Personal Protection Specialist (PPS) credential; receive CEUs by the NC DPS: Private Protective Services Board, earn law enforcement in-service credits, college semester hours towards a certificate or degree, and adult continuing education credits.
Scholarships are available for veterans and private security specialists, please visit https://www.eptraining.us/tuition-plan/ for more information.
