Dates: Monday, March 11 through Sunday, March 17, 2024

Times: 0800-2000hrs (There will be breaks and time for lunch during the day.)

Outline:

This Dignitary and Executive Protection Specialist course provides training to students who will conduct or support dignitary/executive protective service operations for elected officials, political appointees, members of the court, and private individuals/witnesses who are potential targets of work place violence, terrorism, criminal acts or other threats. Emphasis is placed on introducing the student to the critical, basic and advanced foundations of protection; threat assessment, advance operations, mission planning and operational procedures and methods.

Executive Protection Training Includes, but is not limited to:

· Threat Assessments and Risk Mitigation

· Advance Work and Site Assessments

· Daily Protective Operations, (planning, movement and physical security)

· Surveillance and Counter-Surveillance Techniques & Procedures

· Scenario Based Training and Exercises

· CPR/Life Saving Techniques

State mandated training customized to EP operations

· Anti-Discrimination

· Use of Force and De-Escalation Techniques

· Electronic Stalking Mandated Training

· Cultural & Gender Diversity

Executive Protection Training Tuition:

Independent Security Advisors (ISA) Tuition: Seven-day EP program

Ø Special veteran and law enforcement tuition rate $1,150.00

Host: PGCC Cost (In-Service Rate): $105.00 In-County / $110.00 Out-of-County / $115.00 Out-of-State

Bills will be generated by the College and sent to the Agency, or individual. Agency or individuals will contract directly with ISA for the EP Training.
