In January 2025, the ISA training team discussed the eptraining.us website and blog. The instructors, various guest speakers, and SMEs wanted to publish their own articles, open topics for debate, and share thoughts on the industry as a whole.
Given the risk of the team’s “open thoughts” being published on the official company website, we postponed the discussion until we could figure out a way for them to share their thoughts while still remaining affiliated with ISA.
Today, that has become a reality with the establishment of the Google blog at https://isaexecutiveprotectiontraining.blogspot.com/ and the first team post on Executive Protection Training Standards and the ISD Process.
This allows our team to share their thoughts and opinions on the day’s topics. We don’t limit or moderate what they post, but we will occasionally visit the blog or share their posts. ISA has social media policies that may have prevented some opinions from being shared on our official blog.
However, we value what our people want to say or share, and we will not separate ourselves completely from their opinions, so we have granted permission for the blog to use our new logo.
Of course, each instructor, etc., may have their own social media or personal blogs, but now they can email their posts directly to the blog for publication from their ISA email. They can also collaborate on a post or begin a team discussion.
We hope those interested in the executive protection industry will visit their blog and read their thoughts and opinions, as well as feel free to share their own.
