Thus course came highly recommended by a well trusted source. I tell you Matt Parker did not disappoint. My experience is nearly 20 years working close protection. 10 years contracting with DoS High Threat Personal Protection. For tose that are new to EP work tighten your boots and hold on. Ut no worries though because Matt leaves no one behind. Those with prior EP experience, your gonna get a plethora of new ideas and different ways to run a team/detail. At the beginning you will feel as though you are drinking from a fire hose. Towards the end you will realize you were at your pace. Matt does a great job at relating real world scenarios and experiences with subjects taught. The classroom is alwYs live and engaging. Those of you with LEO, Military or EP experience will get his personality right of the bat. Matts people skills are on point, entertaining and defi itely appreciated. Coverall excellent course that I highly recommend.

I attended the ISA Course in Maryland at the end of April 2025. This is a legit course, taught by legit professionals.

Since I graduated ISA, I have done residential security, static EP Posts at high profile/high threat locations and over the July 4th weekend, I was put on a detail to protect a former governor/actor for 3 days while he was here for a major event.

This course sets you up with all the key skills, abilities, and how to get licensed in over 5 states! And finally, since this course ended, I have called the Director of the School (Mr. Matt Parker) 5 times for guidance and mentorship on details and job interview advice. 4 times he picked up the phone and the one time it went to voicemail, he called me 2 hours later.......tell me any course you have ever graduated from where you can reach out to the Director at any time night or day for help and they are there for you!!!!

Hands down one of the best life decisions I have ever made was choosing Independent Security Advisors and Matt Parker.......you should consider making the same decision to change your life!

I am a LEO working on 30th year on the job. This class was awesome Matt basically teaches you backwards. Instead of instruction with step by step how to do, then do it on your own. It's do it on your own, then step by step instruction. You literally feel like you are lost at times but after Matt goes over what you felt you completely failed at you realize you actually got it. It tricks your mind. The course in a mental grind and will push you out of any comfort zone you think you have. I was a roll player for this class in 2020. 2022 I was a student. So I have seen it from both angles. What I can say is just trust the process. It is a way of learning new material that basically no other training does. Just trust in Matt and the instructors. Just remember and repeat to yourself "Matt knows exactly what he is doing at all times". You will understand what that means after this class.

It was a pleasure to be in this class and learn a new trade. Definitely worth it. One of, if not, the best courses I have ever taken. Matt Parker and team are a cut above the rest.

This course does open your eyes to a new and unpredictable profession. Similar to the Military, you are forced to make critical decisions, work with a team, conduct recon for a mission, and plan accordingly. It does involve some sacrifice and energy, but the results out way the long hours.

This course was brought to me out of nowhere, and it showed me I have what it takes to become an Executive Protection Agent.
