The ISA Training Division is proud to announce Mr. Stephen Komorek, the Director of Law Enforcement Training and Special Investigations for Abacus Research Inc. will join us March 15th & 16th as a subject matter expert and guest speaker during the ISA Dignitary & Executive Protection Specialist Course on the campus of George Mason University.
Mr. Komorek will discuss with students, private investigators and guests the newest in GPS & camera technology, the latest in ‘Unmanned Surveillance Platforms’, camera analytics to identify threats automatically and the best deployment practices used in surveillance detection and investigations. This will be followed by live demos and a real-world exercise.
Stephen trains law enforcement professionals in various disciplines and conducts high profile special investigations for federal, private and corporate clients and assists law enforcement agencies with witness interviews, narcotics, organized crime, and homicide investigations.
Mr. Komorek is the former Director of Special Operations with GSI, and has worked with local, state, and federal law enforcement, Department of Defense (DoD) Combined Joint Special Operation Task Forces (CJSOTFs), Major Crimes Divisions, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), US Secret Service, National Joint Terrorism Task Force (NJTTF), U.S. Marshals, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).
Stephen holds over 20 certifications in various intelligence disciplines to include Combating Human Trafficking and is a member of the World Association of Detectives.
