Course Description: This program introduces the student to the critical fundamental skills of self-defense and the tactics and skills to defend someone else. Emphasis is placed on introducing the student to different forms and techniques of de-escalation, non-lethal fighting skills, martial arts, and the proper use of deadly force by use of a side arm.

Agents must demonstrate their ability to properly employ de-escalation techniques and adhere to the use of force continuum during live fire and scenario based exercises. 

Students have the opportunity to attend martial arts training in China with Red Force Dojos a partner with ISA.
